It’s my second day day as your new Ospreys CEO and I’m already looking forward to capping off week one with my first game. This Friday, the team will take on USA Perpignan at 8pm as our journey towards European knockout rugby continues.
I was immensely impressed with the team’s performance and the turnout from supporters at the Dunraven Brewery Field for a sell-out New Year’s Derby. Now, I’m excited to see more of the same at the Swansea.com Stadium this weekend.
Will you join me to watch the future of Welsh rugby? We’ve got 13 Welsh internationals in the current team, with 9 available to take the field this Friday. Our pool of talented young players continues to grow and impress, which was proved once again by Morgan Morse’s superb try against Cardiff.
As Toby always says, “we’re in the business of entertainment”, and currently Ospreys are playing some of the most entertaining rugby I’ve seen in a long while.
Did you know that we scored more points per 22m entry than any other side across the opening round of this season’s EPCR Challenge Cup? We also beat more defenders in the opening round than any other team in our pool.
At an average age of 25 years old, this young team are really playing their hearts out and they’re doing it all for you. So why don’t you show your appreciation and come and watch the future of Welsh rugby live this Friday?
More than anything, we need our supporters packing the stands and getting behind this young, exciting team. With tickets from just £20 from Adults and £8 for U18s, there’s never been a better time to join us and cheer on the boys.
So, get your tickets now! I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible as the season unfolds.
Yours,
Lance Bradley
